How long does it take to build a pool ?
There are many factors involved in building a new pool. First and foremost is permitting the pool. This can be as little as 6-12 week depending on your local jurisdiction. Once your permit is issued a lot depends on the size and scope of the project. However for the average residential swimming pool plan on 4-6 Months.
What do I need to do to prepare for my new pool
Please know that construction is not pretty or safe while the project is ongoing. here are some steps to take when preparing for your new pool.
Any existing irrigation, electrical or water line need to be moved if in the pool area.
Remove any existing plants, trees, curbing etc. before construction begins
If you have a fence, access will need to be provided for machinery and men.
Please make sure your family, children & dog is safely in the house or other accommodation while construction is ongoing.
